About Physio@Home
Physio@Home is a Cornwall-based home visit physiotherapy service. We provide physiotherapy for people who find it difficult to attend clinics, or who would benefit most from rehabilitation in their own home
Physio@Home was created while Ben was working within the NHS, having seen first-hand how difficult it can be for people to access timely physiotherapy — particularly in the early stages after illness, injury or hospital discharge, when the right support can make a real difference.

Our aim is simple: to offer calm, practical, person-centred physiotherapy that fits around real life.
Why Home Visits?

We help people improve mobility, strength and confidence — all while staying where they feel safest: at home.
Home visit physiotherapy is often most helpful when getting to a clinic is difficult or not yet possible.
We support people who have recently been discharged from hospital, are recovering from surgery, are housebound, or find travel tiring, painful or stressful. It can also be valuable for those who feel unsteady or lack confidence getting out.

Working in your own home allows rehabilitation to be practical, relevant and tailored to everyday life — from stairs and transfers to confidence and independence.
Our Approach

We believe physiotherapy should be:

-
honest and realistic
-
focused on meaningful goals
-
supportive rather than rushed

Every visit begins with a thorough assessment and an open conversation about what is realistic and helpful. We do not believe in unnecessary appointments — our role is to guide, support and empower.

We value the NHS greatly and often work alongside existing NHS services — supporting people while waiting, assisting discharge home, or complementing ongoing care. The priority is always what is best for the patient.
